**2011년 터키 반 지진**
2011년 10월 23일 13시 41분 터키 반(VAN)에서 지진이 발생하였습니다.
5km 정도의 얕은 지대에서 일어난 진원지는 동부터키를 강타하여 근동 지방에까지 진동을 일으켰고,
진앙은 반의 북동쪽 19km 지점이며 광범위한 지역이 심각한 손상을 입고 건물 구조에 타격을

이와 관련하여 터키대댐회(Turkish National Committee on Large Dams)에서
반 지진 이후 실시한 '댐안전성 검사'에 대한 결과자료를 정리하여
국제대댐회 국가위원회(한국대댐회: 국제대댐회의 한국위원회)와 공유하였습니다.

Dear National Committees and Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Turkish National Committee on Large Dams (TRCOLD), thank you for your
condolence messages for the earthquakes hit the city of Van on October 23, 2011 and November 9,
2011.
Please note that the current status of dams & HEPPs that are close to the epicentre of the
earthquakes have been inspected by a group of DSI experts and observed that no technical problem
and hazard occured due to the recent earthquakes.
The "Quick Report on Dam Safety Inspections after Van Earthquakes in Turkey" is attached for
your information.
